The Beginning

I find it appropriate that I start this list with a ritual revered since the dawning of the ages...Breakfast! For 2 years breakfast in my life existed as instant coffee and dry toast enroute to school. Having school at 7 am and work till 11 pm, meant breakfast was simply non existent; when given the choice between more sleep and a 3 egg omlette, sleep always came out on top. With graduation now a distant memory (May1st), I have slowly started enjoying this morning tradition, scrambled eggs, Kashi cereal, toast and tea, it makes no difference, anything would taste delightful as it's about the time I spend with myself in the freshness of the morning. There is something so decadent about having a long slow process and sending myself off into the day with a rejuvenating feast, it almost guarantees a great day. Doctors, scientist, teachers et al have said for years that kids who eat breakfast perform better, so I saw it as only fit that breakfast be my number one, I think its a fantastic way to start a day why not this list?! From cereal and orange juice to a smoothie with a view, breakfast is something different to everyone but simply meant to be enjoyed. As this is my first post, I will keep it short and sweet...like some of the sweetest breakfasts!
